Description

This creamy bacon pasta is rich, comforting, and loaded with crispy bacon in a silky garlic parmesan sauce. A quick 30-minute dinner the whole family will love!


Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne)
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside on paper towel.
  3. Drain most of the bacon grease, leaving about 1 tbsp in the skillet. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until sauce thickens.
  5. Add cooked pasta and bacon back into the skillet. Toss until evenly coated.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Add peas, spinach, or mushrooms for extra flavor.
  • Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter option.
