Ingredients
Dough:

1 cup active sourdough starter (100% hydration)

½ cup whole milk, warmed

¼ cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

3 ½ cups all-purpose flour

½ teaspoon salt

¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
Filling:

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

2–3 tablespoons milk

½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions

In a large bowl, mix sourdough starter, warm milk, sugar, and egg.

Add flour and salt, mixing until dough starts to come together. Add melted butter and knead until smooth and elastic (about 8-10 minutes).

Cover and let rise at room temperature for 4-6 hours or until doubled.

Roll dough on a floured surface into a 12×18-inch rectangle.

Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle evenly with brown sugar and cinnamon.

Roll dough tightly from long side into a log. Cut into 12 equal rolls.

Place rolls in a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise 2-3 hours or until puffy.

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Mix glaze ingredients until smooth; drizzle over warm rolls.
