Description
Air Fryer Turkey Burgers are a healthier and quick alternative to traditional pan-fried burgers, delivering juicy, flavorful patties with a deliciously crisp exterior. Cooking in the air fryer ensures even cooking with less oil, making these burgers perfect for a fast, nutritious meal.
Ingredients
-
1 pound ground turkey (preferably 93% lean)
-
½ small onion, finely diced
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
-
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
-
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
-
½ teaspoon salt
-
¼ teaspoon black pepper
-
Optional: ¼ cup finely chopped fresh parsley or cilantro
-
Burger buns and your favorite toppings (lettuce, tomato, cheese, avocado, etc.)
Instructions
-
In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and herbs if using. Mix gently until just combined.
-
Form mixture into four evenly sized patties about ½-inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.
-
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
-
Place patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch.
-
Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
-
If desired, add cheese slices during the last 1-2 minutes of cooking to melt.
-
Serve on buns with your favorite toppings and condiments.
