Ingredients
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon light or dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon (divided)
2 tablespoons melted vegetable oil
2 tablespoons milk
1 large egg
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 tablespoon melted butter or 2 tbsp non-dairy oil (for frosting)
Instructions
Grease a microwave-safe mug with melted butter or oil
In a bowl mix 3 tbsp granulated sugar, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1/3 cup flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1 tsp ground cinnamon
In a separate bowl, blend 1 egg, 2 tbsp milk, 2 tbsp melted vegetable oil, and remaining 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Spoon half the dough into the mug
Sprinkle 1 tbsp granulated and brown sugar mixture over the dough
Press remaining dough onto the swirl
Microwave on high for 1.5 minutes
Let sit for 1 minute
Mix powdered sugar, 1 tbsp melted oil/butter, and 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon for frosting
Spread over warm cake

For a halal/vegetarian version use plant-based oil
