Savory roast beef thinly sliced and piled on soft slider buns with melted cheese, caramelized onions, and horseradish mayo, making for the perfect bite-sized sandwich for parties, game day, or casual meals.
Ingredients
1 lb roast beef, thinly sliced (store-bought deli or homemade)
12 slider buns or small sandwich rolls
1 large onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons butter
6 slices provolone or Swiss cheese, halved
½ cup mayonnaise
1–2 tablespoons prepared horseradish (adjust to heat preference)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: lettuce, pickles, or mustard
Instructions
In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté onions 10-15 minutes until soft and caramelized. Season with salt and pepper.
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and horseradish to make horseradish mayo.
Slice buns horizontally and place bottoms on a baking sheet. Spread horseradish mayo on each bottom.
Layer slices of roast beef evenly on each bun bottom, top with caramelized onions, and add cheese slices. Cover with buns.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cover sliders loosely with foil and warm in oven for 10-15 minutes or until cheese melts and sliders are heated through.
Serve warm with optional toppings.
