Description

Tender cube steak coated in a rich garlic butter sauce with umami depth. Ready in 30 minutes, this crowd-pleasing dish is perfect for main courses, appetizers, or over rice/noodles. Addiction alert: the sauce disappears first.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp unsalted butter (melted for garlic base)
4 tbsp unsalted butter (for sauce)
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (vegetable-based if needed)
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

Pat steak cubes dry with paper towels
Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat until shimmering
Sear steak in batches 90 seconds per side, remove and set aside
In the same pan, melt 1 tbsp butter, sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant
Add Worcestershire sauce, stir to deglaze, then return steak to pan
Add remaining 4 tbsp butter, cook 1-2 minutes until sauce is glossy
Season with salt and pepper, garnish with parsley and serve

Notes

Chicken thighs or shrimp substitute works for non-meat versions
Use chives or cilantro if parsley isn’t preferred
Store in fridge for 2-3 days
Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes for oven option
