Ingredients
12 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, bring to a simmer.
Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until sauce thickens slightly.
Return chicken to the skillet and toss in cooked pasta. Mix until everything is coated and heated through.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
