Ingredients
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional: 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, but not browned.
Slowly pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until sauce is smooth and creamy.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Use immediately or keep warm until serving.
