This decadent baked spaghetti features tender noodles, a creamy three-cheese layer, savory beef and Italian sausage sauce, and bubbly golden mozzarella on top. It’s easy, affordable, and crowd-pleasing—perfect for family dinners or potlucks.
Ingredients
16 oz spaghetti noodles
½ lb ground beef
½ lb ground Italian sausage
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
24 oz marinara or spaghetti sauce
3 tbsp butter
8 oz cream cheese, softened
¼ cup sour cream
1 cup cottage cheese or ricotta
2 cups shredded mozzarella
⅔ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Cook spaghetti noodles according to package directions until al dente; drain and toss with butter and ½ cup marinara.
In a skillet, brown beef and sausage. Drain excess fat.
Add onions and garlic to meat, cook until onion is soft.
Add remaining marinara (all but reserved ½ cup), salt, and pepper; simmer for 5-10 minutes.
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese or ricotta.
Add half the noodles to the dish. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over noodles.
Layer with remaining noodles, then spread meat sauce over the top.
Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan on top.
Bake for 30-40 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. Let cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
